If you haven’t been to an indoor gun range before, there are some things you’ll want to know. Keep reading to learn what you can expect when you visit an indoor shooting range for the first time.
Before you leave your house, make sure you have your passport or other government-issued ID with you, the indoor gun range will need to see this. If you have eye are ear protection, you’ll also need to bring those.
Don’t worry if you don’t have this protection, you’ll have the option or rent or purchase it from the indoor gun range.
If you have your own gun, you also may want to bring it. You can bring your own firearm, handgun, or long gun, and your own ammo and targets if you’d like. If you don’t own a firearm, you can rent one from the range. There is a wide selection of rental firearms available.
When you get to the indoor gun range, you’ll have to sign a liability release. Next, you’ll watch a short safety video before entering the range and assigned a shooting lane. Now you put on your eye and ear protection and enter the range.
